<description>&#60;p&#62;BRAINERD/NISSWA AREA The panfish bite has been decent and consists of mainly crappies. The Bar Harbor Channel on Gull Lake, the Merrifield end of North Long Lake, and the bay on Pelican Lake have been most consistent in shallow water. Tube jigs or FluFlus tipped with minnows are working best.
